…for an important, thought-provoking anniversary celebration!

Options Bytown was formed twenty years ago by a small group of community members in Lowertown who were dedicated to helping people who are homeless. 

We are extremely pleased to announce that we will be holding our 20th anniversary celebration on:

Tuesday, October 6, 2009
5:00PM – 7:00PM

Our evening will include:

• A reception with music by Maria Hawkins,
• A presentation by Michael Shapcott, Director, Affordable Housing and Social Innovation for the Wellesley Institute,
• Remarks from municipal, provincial and federal political representatives,
• Stories from our tenants, and
• Presentation of the 3rd annual Make Homelessness History Award and our 1st annual Media Award for Excellence in reporting on homelessness issues.
